Ripped out the cukes and beans today, and trimmed back the watermelon vines. I hope I didn't kill any vital ones (that connect to developing watermelons). Next year I DEFINITELY need to think more carefully about where I plant the watermelons.
I planted carrots, romaine, spinach, and peas from seed. I also transplanted 4 of the mini-purple onions. I killed one during transplant. They seem pretty fragile, so I wonder whether they will survive. I held the others back to transplant later, when they are a little bigger. I added some general-purpose fertilizer to the soil before I planted the seeds.
I fertilized the lemon and lime trees today.
Tomatoes are massively prolific. We are harvesting around 5 a day. Way more than we can eat.
